We are looking for a FT City Desk Associate with working knowledge of wholesale counter sales strategies. Working knowledge of concrete construction background & forklift experience required. Willing to train exceptional candidate.

Duties

This position will be the first point of contact for contractors & residential customers. They will need to have basic warehouse & construction experience. Basic computer skills are required as well. Position involves taking customer orders in person & over the phone, providing excellent customer service, & maintaining a professional relationship with established &potential customers.

We are looking for a Full Time Branch Manager. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of the concrete construction industry and sales. The position involves City Desk, taking customer orders in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a professional relationship with established and potential customers, organizing work schedules, and daily store duties with employees. Some warehouse duties will apply as needed. Forklift experience preferred.

Duties

The Branch Manager position

Requires a diverse set of skills to effectively oversee the daily operations of
the Rapid City branch. The ideal candidate should possess strong management
skills to lead and motivate a team, as well as experience in POS systems,
purchasing, and inventory control. Customer service is a key aspect of this
role, along with construction counter sales expertise to drive revenue. Additionally,
proficiency in cash handling, retail math, and forecasting is essential for
success in this position. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for
training and developing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and
managing overall branch performance.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily branch
operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control

- Ensure excellent customer
service by providing assistance and resolving customer complaints or issues

- Ensure branch
profitability by meeting sales targets and controlling expenses

- Develop and implement
strategies to increase branch traffic and maximize sales opportunities

- Train and develop store
staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills

- Supervise and motivate a
team of sales associates to achieve individual and team goals

- Maintain a high level of
customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints and ensuring excellent
service

- Oversee store
merchandising and ensure products are displayed attractively

- Monitor inventory levels
and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability

- Conduct regular audits to
ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Handle City Desk orders
and assist branch staff as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills:

- Strong math skills for
handling cash transactions, calculating discounts, and managing inventory

- Experience in construction
or retail sales is highly desirable

- Proven ability to
supervise and lead a team effectively

- Excellent customer service
skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner

- Knowledge of retail math
principles for analyzing sales data and forecasting trends

- Strong training and development skills to coach and mentor staff members

- Effective time management
skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Proficient in inventory
control procedures to manage stock levels efficiently

Required Experience:

- 4+ years of counter
sales/sales

- 4+ years of management
